Rainbow Vacuum Models: How To Determine Which Rexair Model You Have.

There are two methods to determine what model Rainbow vacuum cleaner you have, other than calling your Rainbow dealer or distributor office.



Method 1: What Does Your Rainbow Look Like?+

Series E and E2 has a plastic top with the on/off switch on the BACK, a HEPA filter on the back and the color of the unit is BLACK.

Series D4 and D4Se or SE has a plastic top with the on/off switch on TOP. The color is brown.

Series D3 has a plastic top with the on/off switch on the BACK. The color is brown.

Series D2 has a chrome top. The color is brown.




Method 2: What Is Your Rainbow's Serial Number?

The Rainbow serial number on the E and E2 series is located about 4 inches below where the electrical cord comes out of the unit. This number is etched into the plastic.

The Rainbow serial number on the older machines is etched into the plastic right over where your hose is inserted.

Series E and E2 serial numbers begin with 9.

Series D4Se or SE serial numbers begin with 7 or 8.

Series D4 serial numbers begin with 6.

Series D3 serial numbers begin with 4 or 5.

Series D2 serial numbers begin with 3.
